Please read these terms carefully. By using this website, completing our online assessment or booking a consultation, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
About these terms
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean BIO CHAIN CLINIC PTY LTD (ABN 46 699 092 834), trading as Bio Chain Clinic. "You" means the person using this website or our services.
Our services
Bio Chain Clinic provides telehealth consultations with Australian-registered health practitioners, together with related care such as pathology referrals and follow-up. Consultations take place by secure video call.
Telehealth is not an emergency service. If you need urgent medical help, call 000 or go to your nearest emergency department. Telehealth may not be suitable for every concern, and your practitioner may recommend an in-person appointment instead.
Who can use our services
Our consultations are for adults aged 18 and over who are located in Australia at the time of their consultation.
Online assessment
Our online assessment helps us understand your health and goals before a consultation. Completing it does not create a doctor and patient relationship, and it does not guarantee that a consultation, test or treatment will be offered.
Your practitioner decides what care is clinically appropriate for you. Any treatment is recommended only where it is suitable, and a prescription is only one possible outcome of a consultation.
Bookings, fees and cancellations
Consultations are booked through our online booking system. The fee for your consultation, and any cancellation or rescheduling terms, are shown before you confirm your booking. Pathology and other services may be billed separately by the provider who performs them.
If you need to cancel or change a booking, please do so as early as you can, using the link in your booking confirmation or by contacting us.
Your responsibilities
When you use our services, you agree to:
- give complete and accurate information about your health, medicines and history, and tell us promptly if anything changes
- attend your consultation from a private place where you can speak freely
- follow your practitioner's advice and seek further care when advised
- use our services for your own care only, and not on behalf of someone else
- treat our team with respect. We may decline or end a service where behaviour is abusive or unsafe.
